Making a great video
You'll want to have a think about what you want your video to be about. This is a pretty open competition, so long as there's a positive message you'd want to share, any kind of style, idea or story works. It should include your video footage, and it of course can be include music (and we're uploading to Youtube, so music copyright is generally covered by Youtube's arrangement with rights holders).
To help you capture the spirit of choir life, here are some themes you might consider for your video:
- The Power of Community: Show how your choir brings people together and fosters a sense of belonging.
- The Joy of Singing: Highlight the happiness and energy that comes from singing together in harmony.
- Performance Magic: Take viewers behind the scenes of rehearsals or capture the excitement of performing in front of an audience.
- Personal Growth: Share your story of how singing in a choir has helped you develop new skills, confidence, or friendships.
- Festive Choir Spirit: Capturing your choir in all its twinkly glory.
- Choir Family: Focus on the bonds and friendships formed through your choir group.
- Why I Love My Choir: A personal testimonial about why you’re proud to be part of your specific choir.
