The Ionian Singers and the Levanto Ensemble

The programme includes madrigal and part songs, together with wind chamber music from England, France, Germany and Hungary. Composers include Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, Hindemith and Farkas. Timothy Salter's 'Dovetail' receives its first performance as scored for flute, clarinet and bassoon, and the programme also includes two of his charming folk-song arrangements.
