Stewkley Singers present: "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff and "Song of Destiny" by Johannes Brahms.

The Stewkley Singers, conducted by Jenny Morgan, are delighted to perform Orff's energetic and cheeky "Carmina Burana", which contrasts beautifully with Brahms' heavenly "Song of Destiny". The choir is joined by the Leighton Buzzard Young Singers, accompanied by the Wigmore Chamber Orchestra, and featuring soloists Sarah Helsby Hughes (soprano), Peter Coleman (baritone) and Vincent Pirillo (tenor). The Singers' annual spring concerts are famed for combining the finest local, regional and national musicians for an evening of beautiful and unforgettable choral music.
