Music for a Royal Occasion

Vox Anima London is privileged and honoured to present a choral concert Music for a Royal Occasion at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. Esteemed composer Paul Mealor LVO CStJ will conduct the Vox Anima London Singers - voices from the US and the UK - in an expansive programme highlighting historic and current royal music including his Coronation Kyrie, composed for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Programme to include: Mealor - Coronation Kyrie Parry - I Was Glad Walton - Te Deum Handel - Zadok the Priest Wiseman - Alleluia (O Clap Your Hands) Tallis - If Ye Love Me The evening will include a guest appearance by The Queen's Six. The ensemble was established in 2008, the 450th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth I, from whom they take their name. Based at Windsor Castle, members of The Queen's Six make up part of the Lay Clerks of St George's Chapel, whose homes lie within the Castle walls.
