Men United in Song

The Challenge involves forty men (many of whom have never sung in choir before) learning eight songs in nine weeks which they will then perform on stage in a gala concert on 31 October 2026 compered by the BBC's Garry Owen. These charity fundraising heroes will discover the thrill (and nervous excitement) of performing in front of a paying audience in one of Cardiff's most prestigious performance spaces - the Dora Stoutzker Hall at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. It takes guts to do that, so we hope you'll show your support in whatever way you can: buy tickets, sponsor an individual, or donate to the campaign! The songs cover a variety of genres from music theatre to traditional Welsh, popular classics and inspiring anthems. The concert will also include performances by some wonderful young Welsh singers including Welsh National Opera's Ceri Heddwyn Davies and Lauren Elizabeth Williams and Connor Horton from Loud Applause Rising Stars. One of Wales' renowned male voice choirs, Côr Meibion De Cymru will also be showcasing their fabulous repertoire - the choir is one of only two regional men's choirs in Wales!
