In the first half, experience the haunting beauty of Cherubini’s Requiem in C minor, a powerful and moving masterpiece that brings solemnity and grace to the season. Rich in drama and depth, this work offers a moment of reflection amidst the festivities. In the second half, we present Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, a radiant and contemplative piece that captures the mystery and wonder of the nativity through luminous harmonies and serene beauty. To round off the evening, enjoy singing favourite carols with audience participation—plus plenty of mulled wine (or soft drinks) and mince pies to warm the spirit.
