Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem
This is some text inside of a div block.
The Requiem is unusual in that the words are not from the Latin mass but were chosen by Brahms from the Lutheran Bible. Its focus is to comfort the living who are mourning. Along with the Brahms, Alex Jones and the choir will perform Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs, an arrangement of poems by the seventeenth-century priest George Herbert. The five songs vary in style and the final one is the well-known ‘Let all the world in every corner sing’.
