Bach: Mass in B Minor

This concert is devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach’s last sacred work, the Mass in B minor, which is widely regarded as "one of the greatest, if not the single greatest, musical masterpieces of all time". Bury Bach Choir looks forward to performing this magnificent work, which we last performed twenty years ago. We will be joined by four superb soloists, and by The Geldart Ensemble who will play period instruments to honour the textures and colours that Bach himself would have heard. This is Bach at his absolute best, challenging for the choir, and inspiring, enthralling and exhilarating for the audience. Come and join us for an unforgettable evening.
